Features and prospects of the collection and sorting of household waste at dispersed objects of their formation

Annotation: The paper considers the issue of improving of technology efficiency and mechanical means of the collection and transportation of municipal solid waste (MSW) from the places of their dispersed formation. It has been carried out the analysis of advanced technique of waste management in remote settlements, during the course of which it was established that the cost of transporting waste prevail over other costs during their further processing or disposal. The practical use possibility of mobile units of MSW separation has been proved. By numerical analysis it has been found out that the most effective practical use of mobile units is such one with volumes m3and the range of their collection and delivery km. A technique of a feasibility study for the application of various technologies and types of MSW separation units has been proposed, this technique allows establishing the area of rational use of mobile and stationary units for MSW separation.
