Comparative analysis of the energy capacity of the development of digging with vertical walls by a power shovel
Annotation: Nowadays, the most common type of excavator working equipment is a backhoe. There are many types of excavation work on which it is necessary to develop excavations with vertical walls. The article presents a comparative analysis of the technological schemes of the excavator when digging a well with such working equipment as a backhoe and a clamshell. The advantages of using a clamshell have been described. Comparison of the volume of extracted soil depending on the required depth of excavation has been given. The analysis of the work spent on the extraction of this volume of soil is presented. The parameters of the specific energy consumption of the process of excavation using such working equipment as a backhoe and a clamshell have been calculated.
