Assessment of operation of steel crane girder

Annotation: The article describes the probabilistic evaluation of the operation life of crane steel girders. Technical failure is used as a probabilistic criterion of the stressstrain state. The method of two moments is used for its calculation. The proposed method of assessment of reliability is tested on the example of calculating the steel crane girder with a span of 6 m and under medium and heavy mode of operation. The criteria were the limit and acceptable value of risk. On the basis of technical risk assessment, the limits of the crane girder life with medium and heavy operating conditions are determined.
