Evaluation of the service area of hydraulic lifts for various positions of the boom equipment

Annotation: The article discusses the effectiveness of the use of boom equipment of hydraulic lifts in terms of assessing their service area (under-boom space). Cylinder-cranked and telescopic articulated boom lifts are used as comparison objects. The analytical dependences of constructing the trajectory of the elevator cradle are obtained. Various types of boom equipment were developed in the software package to account their displacement under loadings for designing a service area. The coordinate errors correction must be introduced into analytical dependences for more accurate designing of the cradle trajectory, as well as for the assessment of the service area of the hydraulic lift. As a result, altitude characteristics were obtained that take into account the deformed state of the boom equipment, which contribute to a more accurate positioning of the load at the installation site. The article also conducted a comparative assessment of the service area using generalized indicators.
