Annotation: The paper identifies the main factors which affect the amount of the construction process impact on the atmospheric air. The gross values of pollutants generated at different stages of construction with their subsequent summation are determined. It was found that during the construction of buildings, the largest amount of pollutants is released into the atmosphere while the special equipment is used and earthworks are performed on the zero cycle of building construction. Mathematical dependences of changes in the total value of gross emissions on the volume of construction and number of building levels have been established. The change in the amount of pollutant emissions has been studied, taking into account the calendar schedule of construction works. The research work determines the distances from the sources of emission at the construction site where the maximum concentrations of pollutants are reached. The Maps of isolines of ground-level concentrations of pollutants were obtained for a sample of the studied objects at the stage of zero-cycle operations.

Keywords: environmental safety, construction, stages of construction, atmospheric pollution, emission capacity, construction period, residential development.
