Application of reverse osmotic units for improvement of electric energy generation processes in maneuvered mode

Annotation: It is proposed to use a reverse osmosis (RO) desalination unit to increase the efficiency of maneuvering operation of equipment in the maneuvering cycling, which is necessary when changing the schedule of electric load in electric networks. To study the dynamic analysis of this system, special attention is paid to detailed dynamic modeling and control of the desalination process, which uses a membrane module. The simulation results show that the reverse osmosis desalination unit provides operational maneuverability in energy consumption management by using excess electricity. The use of water obtained by the reverse osmosis method allows to expand the range of hybrid energy systems, to maximize the use of the overall system performance.
