Annotation: An important social-economic and practical scientific issue of modern architectural and urban planning reintegration of non-functioning residential buildings and its groups in the cities of the Donetsk People’s Republic is discovering in this research. The relevance of this research, practical solution of the all its aspects, the degree of theoretical knowledge and regulatory and methodological support and main provisions of the scientific program are formulated here. The goal of this program is scrutiny of all aspects of this object, including the novelty and scientific and practical significance of the results of our research. We are giving here examples of the reintegration of non-functioning architectural and urban planning of buildings, which based on international experience of its practical implementation. An integrated systematic approach to solving the problem is required, as we know. It should apply at all levels of the architectural and planning organization of non-functioning residential buildings and groups of buildings, including its situational position, typological and functional modernization, the development of a planning, constructive and technical, volumetric-spatial and compositional-artistic solution, which is measuring up to new objectives of this building’s application.
