Architectural improvement and development of medical institutions, which are need to be reconstructed (on Donbass cities' example)

Annotation: Taking into account the global agenda and the events of recent years, the need for the development of health care institutions is beyond doubt. The basic aims of this development are: improving the quality of treatment, the conditions of patients' staying in medical centers, as well as the working conditions for doctors and other healthcare workers. This article is researching the problem of architectural improvement and development of medical institutions, which are need to be reconstructed. This problem is relevant for the entire post-Soviet space and for Donbass in particular, if taking into account the current difficult socio-economic and geopolitical situation in the region. The article outlines the latest trends in medical institutions' design, and also considers the problem of existing medical complexes' inconsistency with these trends. The authors of the article considered modern approaches, that allows in the process of reconstruction to improve the architecture of medical institutions, to consider the possibility of developing the typology of institutions in this industry, to increase the comfort of the environment for the stay of patients and the doctors' work.
