The type’s of fuel influence on the reliability of the process unit’s operation “valve - saddle - guide bushing” of the gas distribution mechanism
Annotation: We are researching different types of internal combustion engines, which are working on various types of fuel, as: compressed natural gas (methane) and liquid fuels (gasoline, diesel fuel). Basing on the results of this research we had been determined the main streams of increasing the resource of its operation by improving the technological unit “valve - seat - guide sleeve”. First stream is: imparting higher mechanical and service properties to the working edges of the valve and seat, ensuring resistance to high-temperature gas corrosion and impact deformation. And next direction of this improving work is increasing the resistance to wear of the mating surfaces “valve stem - guide sleeve” to prevent the valve from skewing when it’s moving in the vertical set.
