Features of thermal calculation of multi-circuit heat exchangers of the coil type with heat supply from a NHS

Annotation: The operation of heating and storage installations with multi-circuit heat exchangers installed in individual heating points for connecting heating and hot water supply systems significantly reduces operating costs and capital investments. The possibility of using the heat carrier from the nuclear power plant for heat supply of buildings with the help of district heating was considered too. Based on this, a new method was formulated for calculating a multi-circuit coil-type heat exchanger for heating and hot water supply systems for settlements from nuclear heat sources. The constructive calculation of the main elements of a multi-circuit coil-type heat exchanger is described. The presence of an accumulating capacity with a multi-circuit heat exchanger for smoothing the peak load of daily consumption is analyzed, taking into account also a decrease in water withdrawal at night. A diagram of a four-circuit heat exchanger for an independent connection diagram of heating and ventilation systems using a heat carrier from a nuclear power plant is presented.
