Aspects of formation and prospects for development of cultural and educational complexes (centers) in Donbass’ cities

Annotation: This article substantiates the need to study the issue of the formation and development of the architecture objects that provide cultural and educational activities on the Donbass territory, and examines some features that reveal the relationship between cultural aspects and architectural and urban development of Donbass. The socio-economic, historical and cultural characteristics of the modern life of the region determine the need to study the characteristics of existing architectural objects within the framework of the research topic. We considered the importance of the issue of preserving and developing the culture of Donbass and general cultural values. That is why the author proposes to analyze the experience in construction of cultural and educational facilities on the territory of settlements of the Donetsk People's Republic in order to identify the characteristic features, distinctive and common features, as well as analyze the level of development architecture objects of the type under consideration. The research intends to further use the materials as the first step towards the formation of a model for creating and improving modern cultural and educational complexes (centers) in Donbass.
