Annotation: This article is devoted to testing the results of a study on the architectural formation of construction production complexes in non-operating coal mines of the Donetsk People's Republic. The mining industry has a significant impact on all components of the environment. This project represents a solution to the problem of modern architectural and urban planning reintegration of territories, complexes of buildings and structures of coal mines in the cities of the Donetsk People's Republic. In recent years, the reorganization of industrial territories in a developing modern city’s structure has become especially acute. The advisability of reorganization and the introduction of alternative functions is determined by social, economic, psychological, historical and aesthetic factors. Many industrial enterprises have moved from the city center to the outskirts of the area. If industrial use of the territory is abandoned, this is aimed at reducing the negative impact on the city’s environment.

Keywords: architecture of buildings and structures, construction production complexes, renovation, restructuring, inactive coal mines.
