Architectural study of the cultural heritage site "Khan's palace" in Bakhchisaray
Annotation: Returning of Crimea set numerous tasks for Russian restorers to preserve cultural heritage sites. The Khan's Palace in Bakhchisarai is one of these cultural objects. Perhaps, this is the only saved example of khan's palace architecture. The architectural ensemble has distinctive features from both the palaces of eastern and western rulers. In modern time, the main building of the khan's palace appears surrounded by a complex system of priority emergency response measures, among which are visible systems of struts and pillars along the outer perimeter of the buildings, as well as in the interior spaces. The architectural ensemble is crowned by a temporary roof, created in the form of a spatial structure on separate outriggers. Carrying out restoration work, one of the primary tasks is to carry out architectural research on the site.
