Cement concrete road pavements on the base of selfcompacting concrete

Annotation: The expediency of using cement concretes for the device of road surface coatings is considered, the main advantages in comparison with traditional asphalt-concrete coatings are given. It is shown that the use of self-compacting concrete mixes ensures the improvement of the quality and durability of concrete slabs, and also significantly reduces the labor intensity of work. The compositions of self-compacting concrete mixtures for hard road coverings have been developed. A key role for matching concrete mixes with molding conditions is given to additives, incl. viscosity modifiers.
