Annotation: The article summarizes the events and facts, which illuminatе the history of origin, formation and development of Donbas regional architectural school, including design practice, scientific research, creation and training of architectural personnel at the Architectural faculty of Makeyevka Civil Engineering Institute, later called Donbas State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture and Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, as well as at modern departments «Architectural Planning and Design of Architectural Environment», «Urban-Planning and Landscape Architecture» and «Land Management and Cadastres».
