Annotation: The scientific team of the Department of Metal Structures of the Donbass National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture under the guidance of prof. Ye.V. Gorokhov for more than 25 years has been actively engaged in the problem of increasing the reliability and durability of building structures of power network construction. As a result, the complex of studies of theoretical and applied nature, significant scientific results has been achieved in improving the reliability and durability of structures, through the use of optimal design methods, probabilistic methods for calculating structures, field tests and experimental modeling, monitoring, forecasting operational loads and impacts.
