Annotation: The article deals with the basic stages of scientific research concerning the providing of reliability and durability of bearing metal structures of the unique structures and buildings, which was realized within the scientific school created by Doctor of Engineering of Sciences, Prof. Ye.V. Gorokhov. Basic works have been presented, and, also, the scientific results have been obtained for the spatial metal constructions of long-span coverages, unique systems providing the troposphere connection, constructions of vertical cylindrical tanks for storage of oil and oil products.
