Features of technologies for the distribution of anti-icing materials on the surface of roads and sidewalks

Annotation: The paper discusses technologies and means for preparing anti-icing combined mixtures and their distribution on the surface of public roads and pedestrian zones. A comparative analysis of the processes as components of the presented technologies has been carried out. It allows matching sets of machines involved in the technological processes of preparation and distribution of deicing materials. Criteria of optimization of the composition and structure of sets of machines for preliminary preparation and distribution of deicing mixtures and the effectiveness of the technology of distribution of mixtures using vehicles with a rotating cone-shaped body have been considered. An approximate implementation of a machine with a rotating cone-shaped body equipped with additional units used on machines for winter road maintenance has been presented. A preliminary calculation to determine the energy costs associated with the processes of distribution of deicing material on the road surface according to the technologies under consideration was made.
