Annotation: The usage of alternative energy sources causes issues due to nowadays challenges in the energy sector. There are the exhaustibility of traditional energy resources (TER) and the threat to environmental wellbeing from technological impacts. Both problems can be partly solved by using the conception of energy substitution applying the technologies with usage of unconventional renewable energy sources (RES). This work contains heat-pumping units (HPUs) that considered as technologies and domestic wastewater as a low potential energy source (LPES).
