Research estimate of anti-icing material for reuse

Annotation: As part of increasing environmental safety’s level issue in the urban economy, it is important to study the possibilities for the optimal use of machinery and equipment for the implementation of all stages of solving the problem of reusing or recycling friction deicing materials. This article concentrates on researches, related to the separation of the source material into fractions for subsequent using. The article defines: boundary values of the parameters’ of a particle passage of the material under study through the sieve opening. Dependence of the minimum allowable sieve mesh size on the particle size. Dependence of the minimum allowable “light” sieve area on the cell size. Dependence of the area providing the unhindered passage of the particle on the cell size. Dependence of the total sieve area (within one cell) on the cell size. Dependence of the probability of passage of particles on the size of the cell and as well as considering the movement of material along the inclined surface of the sieve and determining dependence of the maximum speed of movement of the material on the cell size. The results of our research will allow selecting or designing equipment for mechanical classification and enrichment of the material that most closely meets the requirements of the technological process.
