Strategic approach to the development of the building materials industry as a basic component of our region’s economic security

Annotation: This article is a research of the conditions and state of development’s building materials industry in the Donetsk People’s Republic in the post-war period (2014-2022). Our analysis based on a set of social-economic prerequisites and aspects. The macroeconomic factors influencing the market trends in the development of the building materials industry in the Donetsk region discussed here. The basic requirements for the sustainable development of enterprises for the production of building materials are considered. The main ways for the creation and development of a competitive construction industry, with high standards of quality and efficiency, oriented both to cover the needs for the restoration and reconstruction of facilities affected by hostilities in the Donetsk People’s Republic, and for export with the main strategic partner - Russian Federation are suggested.
