The first bachelor architects-urban planners’ graduation in DONNACEA

Annotation: The article analyzed results of the first Urban planning’s bachelors graduation in Donbass’ history. This specialty was created in the regional architectural school - at the architectural faculty of the State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education "Donbass National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture". The modern regional prerequisites for the beginning of the architects-urban planners’ training are considered. Besides, the features of choosing and substantiating the themes of graduation student works that are relevant for the Donetsk People's Republic are described here. The importance of getting as close to reality as possible, but taking into account the individual qualification and creative potential of future specialists, is emphasized. This information was put by the staff of the department "Urban planning and landscape architecture" as the basis for choosing directions and topics for diploma projects for bachelors. The successful experience of applying this practice is taken into account when searching for sites for accommodating the most significant objects in Donetsk - the Donbass Arena stadium, Auchan, Amstor, Metro chain stores and other city-forming objects.
