Annotation: The article is devoted to the Soviet medium-duty truck GAZ-51. The history of the creation of the GAZ-51 car is considered. The serial production of the GAZ-51 car is discussed. Serial modifications based on GAZ-51 are given. Experimental modifications based on the GAZ-51 are presented. In addition, trucks from the Gorky Automobile Plant that went into mass production after the GAZ-51 are shown. The design of the basic GAZ-51 car is considered. Trucks of the Gorky Automobile Plant are shown: GAZ-51, GAZ-63, GAZ-93, GAZ-51N, GAZ-51U, GAZ-51NU, GAZ-51B, GAZ-51ZH, GAZ-51ZHU, GAZ-51A, GAZ-51F, GAZ -51AU, GAZ-51YU, GAZ-51S, GAZ-51SE, GAZ-51R, GAZ-51RU, GAZ-51T, GAZ-51P, GAZ-51PU, GAZ-51PU, GAZ-51V, GAZ-51D, GAZ-51DU , GAZ-51DU, GAZ-93A, GAZ-93AE, GAZ-93AT, GAZ-41, GZA-651, GZA-653, buggies based on GAZ-51, GAZ-52-01, GAZ-53-12, GAZ- 3307 and GAZ-3309, Valdai, GAZon Next. The Polish production of Lublin-51 trucks is researched. The production of GAZ-51 (under the name “Seungri-58”) is considered.
