Annotation: This article analyzes harmful emissions during technological schemes for the production of powder strips with a mechanical mixture of components and with a complex alloy in the core. It is shown, that in the manufacture of flux-cored tape with a core made of a complex alloy, working conditions for workers are improved by eliminating operations for the preparation of core components, which lead to the release of fine particles into the environment. The presence of these particles on the surface of the workplace can lead to the occurrence of occupational diseases in workers, the nature of the development and severity of which directly depends on the composition, concentration and duration of exposure to these particles on workers. The concentration of air pollution has been quantitatively established by measuring its composition at different distances from the hopper of the dosing device in the manufacture of flux-cored tapes with different core compositions.

Keywords: electric arc surfacing, powder tape, ferroalloy mixture, complex alloy alloy, dust-like particles, concentration of harmful components.
