Annotation: The scientific work reveals the formation's features in the architecture of scientific and technological complexes based on a study of domestic and foreign practice in the design and construction of objects of similar functional and typological purposes. The basic principles of the typological and functional organization of scientific and technological objects are generalized, and the main problems that determine the process of developing design solutions for objects of the type under consideration are characterized in our article. Comprehensive research has made possible to identify practice-oriented experience in the design and construction of scientific and technological complexes and similar institutions in the context of domestic and foreign practice, which reveals the very methodological meaning of the architectural formation of certain object studies.
