Analysis of international experience in architectural design of sports and recreation complexes

Annotation: This article researches international experience in architectural design of sports and recreation complexes, which have a key role in the formation of a healthy lifestyle and the development of sports infrastructure in many countries. Both foreign and domestic design practices used in USA, Germany, Japan and Russia are analyzed, with an emphasis on their innovative approaches, functional features and sustainable solutions. The article also identifies key trends in architecture, such as the use of environmentally friendly materials, the application of modern technologies (including BIM and “smart” systems) and the integration of cultural elements into design. Based on the analysis of foreign and Russian examples, the importance of adapting successful experience to the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic and improving the quality of designing sports and fitness complexes is emphasized. The results of the research are in practical importance for architects, urbanists and specialists in the field of sports infrastructure seeking to create modern and functional facilities that meet the needs of users.
