Annotation: The article is devoted to the research of the possibility of recycling mine self-rescuer waste to obtain hydrogen peroxide and its subsequent use in environmental safety systems. The chemical processes occurring during the interaction of the regenerative material of self-rescuers with water, resulting in the formation of hydrogen peroxide, are considered. Optimal conditions for the production and stability of this substance have been determined, including temperature and pH parameters of the reaction medium. An analysis of the effectiveness of using H₂O₂ for treating contaminated mine and wastewater has been carried out. The efficiency of using H₂O₂ for cleaning contaminated mine and waste water is analyzed. It is experimentally confirmed that its use contributes to a significant decrease in the level of organic and inorganic pollutants, improving water quality and reducing its chemical oxygen demand. The obtained results indicate the high potential of this technology from both an environmental and economic point of view, especially in industrial regions experiencing an acute problem of water pollution.
