Annotation: The Faculty of Engineering and Ecological Systems in Construction is the successor of the Institute of Municipal Economy and Environmental Protection, which was established during the reorganization of the structure of the Academy in 2004. The basis for its creation was the environmental faculty, which existed in the period 1995-2004. Prior to that, it was called the sanitary engineering department, which was established in 1971 in the Makeevka branch of the Donetsk Polytechnic Institute. The creation of the faculty is connected with the training of specialists in heat and gas supply, ventilation, water supply and sewerage.
