Design and construction for the needs of low-mobility population groups as one of significant directions in theory and practice of modern architecture and urban development: experience of Donbas scientific school

Annotation: The article reveals the essence of conception of protection of cultural heritage objects on the territory of Donetsk People’s Republic, including the questions of identification, research, protection and modern architectural and urban planning reintegration of objects under the current geopolitical, social and economic conditions. The article considers the relevance of the concept development, the role of cultural heritage in the modern society; the legal and regulatory framework of its protection; composition of objects of cultural heritage according to basic typological types; directions of the state policy as for protection of cultural heritage; basic problems and aspects of modern architectural and town planning reintegration of cultural heritage objects in the historic buildings of the region; specific aspects of monitoring and taking the inventory, principles and methods of protection and effective use (reintegration) of the objects of cultural heritage on the territory of Donetsk People’s Republic. The article describes the development prospects in the sphere of protection of cultural heritage objects, transformation of cultural heritage objects into museums and development of cultural tourism under the modern conditions.
