Methodological approaches to the preservation and development of the environment of the historical settlement (on the example of Samara)

Annotation: This article explains the reasons for the changes in the number of historical settlements in Russia and presents the results of the research work carried out, the purpose of which was to justify the inclusion of a part of the settlements of Samara city district in the list of historic settlements. The methodological approaches to the establishment of the boundaries of the historical settlement, the optimization of the zoning protection system, the use of various types of reconstruction of the historical environment, the determination of the investment attractiveness of the historical quarters in front of the development control zones are outlined. Scheduled activities are planned in the framework of the program of renovation of the historical center of Samara.
