Annotation: The main task of calculating and designing building structures is the need to ensure the possibility of their trouble-free operation throughout the entire life cycle of the structure. Most design standards based on the basic postulates of reliability theory define the purpose of construction design as "achieving an acceptable probability that the projected structure will not be unsuitable for its intended use during a certain conditional period established taking into account its estimated service life."
