Determination of the loader crane’s kinematic parameters

Annotation: The article analyzes the kinematic parameters of the boom equipment of a crane. An articulated boom of a loader crane with a load moment of 14.3 t/m (140.3 kN/m) was taken as the object of the research. The problem of a position of the head of the boom equipment with a load-handling device according to the given relative displacements in kinematic pairs is solved. The obtained analytical dependences of the coordinates of the load-handling device makes possible to refine the geometric characteristics of the working area of the loader crane. To expand the functionality of the crane, it is recommended to install a swivel cradle. The speeds of movement of the boom head were determined for various positions of a loader crane unit (LCU) with two types of attachments: a hook suspension and a swivel cradle. The operating conditions of the loader crane are substantiated in terms of speed parameters for the hook version and the version with a swivel cradle.
